Sierra Sacramento Valley Medicine is the official journal of the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society (SSVMS) and promotes the history, art, and science of medicine, the protection of public health and the well-being of physicians and patients. Sierra Sacramento Valley Medicine provides a forum for local physicians and healthcare professionals to share their knowledge about medicine and express their views on issues impacting the medical profession.
Published six times a year, with a circulation of over 6,500, Sierra Sacramento Valley Medicine is received by practicing and retired physicians in the Sacramento Region, as well as other health care professionals, local and state elected officials, local and state media, community health organizations, medical schools, libraries, hospitals, and companies serving the medical community.
