The Board met with physician representatives from two Sacramento radiological groups to discuss self-referral for CT screening exams.

Mr. Harry Cahill, CPA, reviewed his annual audit of the Society's financial status. The Board approved the auditor's report and his recommendation concerning the closure of the library.

The Board approved proposed amendments to the SSVMS Bylaws and their submission to the Active membership for approval.

Approved a resolution to amend the Society's Employees Money Purchase Pension Plan to keep the plan compliant with current law.

Approved a contribution to the CMA Foundation in memory of Gary Krieger, MD, CMA President-Elect who died in July due to complications of a brain tumor.

Referred to the Executive Committee for further review, a request from Yolo County for SSVMS to perform peer review for Yolo County's Correctional Facilities.
