CSERF Programs
|
As we adjust to our nation's recent tragedy, we are resolved to move ahead in making ours a healthier community. The SPIRIT and Adopt-a-School programs play an important role for children and uninsured families by enhancing well-being, creating positive role models, increasing self-reliance and improving access to health care.
Thanks to the generosity of many persons, we are taking bold steps to provide much needed medical care and health education. This message of thanks and appreciation is for all those who support our Community Service, Education and Research Fund (CSERF).
"I would like to thank everyone for helping me get back on my feet. The SPIRIT program helped me during some real difficult times ...Not too long ago, I was in so much pain that I was having difficulties walking. This put my family in tears. They could no longer deal seeing me in so much pain. So they insisted that I see a doctor...
"It was confirmed that I needed surgery. Because of the caring people at the clinic who listened to my needs, they considered me for the SPIRIT program, a program that helps people like myself who at times needs a little assistance from time to time.
"Without this program, I would not be here to revel in the love and the joy my family has to offer nor would I be able to provide for their future.
"God Bless."
A pledge of $50 or more will help sustain the SPIRIT and Adopt-a-School programs. Please join us in supporting one of the cornerstones of community services. You may contribute by completing the enclosed pledge card and returning it in the self-addressed envelope.
Thank you for helping the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society carry out the CSERF mission through SPIRIT and Adopt-a-School.
