Supporting our Community

To those of you who so generously gave to the Community Service, Education and Research Fund (CSERF) program's SPIRIT and Adopt-A-School projects, we offer a heart-felt "thank you." In a time of national crisis it is sometimes difficult to remember that the quiet, steady programs in our own backyard also continue to need our attention and support.

The SPIRIT Project and Adopt-A-School Program serve our communities by providing children and uninsured families with programs that emphasize life skills to enhance well-being, and to create positive role models, self-reliance and improved access to health care. We need your support to continue to take bold steps to help ensure that families in Sacramento and surrounding communities receive needed medical care and health education.

A pledge of $50 or more will further the important and long-lasting impact of SPIRIT and Adopt-a-School on our homes and community. We hope you will join us in supporting one of the cornerstones of community services. You may contribute to these programs by completing the enclosed pledge card in the center of the magazine, and returning it in the self-addressed envelope.
