The Board was updated on a contract for correctional facility peer review services with Sacramento County and requested the Executive Committee to review the final contract for approval and signature.
Accepted the resignation of Dr. John Kasch as Director, District 2, Office #8 and as Treasurer. Directed the Executive Committee to report on candidates for the vacancies at the April meeting.
Approved the 2001 year-end financial statements, investment reports and a report on the number of members by category.
Reviewed the list of 2002 dues delinquent members and set April 15 as the deadline for payment before terminating their membership.

Heard a report that the Society's SPIRIT Project received the Service Club and Association Achievement Award at the People Helping People Business Award Luncheon sponsored by the Community Services Planning Council.
Reviewed and asked the Executive Committee for additional clarification of a draft of the Guiding Principles for Offering Dues Discounts.
Appointed the 2002 Nominating Committee: Drs. Robert Midgley, MD, Chair; Ruth Haskins, MD, District 1; Michael Robbins, MD, District 2; Bradley Sherwood, MD, District 3; Ron Foltz, MD, District 4; Monte Ikemire, MD, District 5; Tom Wilkes, MD, District 6; Hillis Warren, MD, At-Large; and Lydia Wytrzes, MD, At-Large.
Approved an agreement with the Bank of Sacramento to facilitate the payment of payroll taxes and other regularly occurring transactions; approved a resolution memorializing the final details of closure of the Paul H. Guttman Library; approved a conversion to one Charles Schwab account that includes check writing capability.
Accepted the resignation of Dr. Joseph Masters from the Sacramento County Coroner's Advisory Committee.
