The Board:
Approved a $500 contribution to the CMA in memory of Steve Thompson, VP of CMA's Center for Government Relations.

Approved participating with the CMA to support Proposition 71 on Stem Cell Research.

Approved the Second Quarter Financial Statements and Smith Barney Investment Report ending June 20, 3004.

Approved a recommendation from the Emergency Care Committee that the Society communicate support for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) to the Sheriff's Department and Society Members. The Medical Reserve Corp gives all citizens an opportunity to contribute in an organized response to emergencies and disasters, and enhance the quality of life of the community.
