The Board:
Approved (1) The Third Quarter Financial Statements and Smith Barney Investment Reports; (2) An automatic funds transfer agreement between Smith Barney and the Bank of Sacramento for the General Fund and the Building Fund; (3) Using certificates of deposit as regular investments in the Scholarship Fund in lieu of a money market, providing CDs can be purchased at times and maturities that fit SSVMS' September scholarship awards payouts and can provide greater interest than a money market.

Approved sending a letter of congratulations to Mrs. Lisa Smith for her election to CMA Alliance President-Elect.

Approved recommendations from the Scholarship and Awards Committee for the 2006 Golden Stethoscope Award, Medical Honor Award and Medical Community Service Award. The awards will be presented at the January 13, 2006 Annual Awards and Installation Dinner.
