• Approved sending a letter to the California Medical Association welcoming the organization to Sacramento.
  
  
• Received a report that Earl Construction Company had donated $1800 to the Society's SPIRIT Project.
  
  
• Approved a letter to the Yolo County Medical Society Board of Directors concerning its affiliation proposal.
  
  
• Approved sending a letter to the Board of Supervisors in Sacramento and El Dorado Counties urging them to use the tobacco settlement funds for health purposes.

Golden Stethoscope Award - Donald M. Hopkins, MD

Medical Honor Award - Frederick E. Pratt, MD

Medical Community Service Award - Sierra Health Foundation
