Approved signing the legal papers agreeing to merge with the Yolo County Medical Society pending final approval by the members of both medical societies.

Approved the Un-Audited 1999 Year-End SEDMS Financial Statements.

Approved a donation toward sponsorship of the American Medical Student Association's Heartbeat Run, Kid's Event & Health Fair. Funds raised from this event are used by AMSA to support clinics in medically underserved areas of Sacramento and Yolo counties.

Approved SEDMS support that 15% of the tobacco and settlement fund would go to tobacco prevention and education and the remainder to health-related projects in Sacramento County.
