Who Qualifies for SPIRIT Services?
The SPIRIT Project serves patients that seek medical care within the Sacramento county clinic system and community clinics. Most SPIRIT patients are adults between the ages of 21 and 65 or families whose income is too high to qualify for Medi-Cal but too low to allow them to purchase health insurance. To ensure that SPIRIT can provide medical services to as much of this population as possible, SPIRIT requires that specialty care patients are eligible for Level 2 CMISP (County Medically Indigent Services Program)
