This 1982 oil painting, of mule deer in the early morning in Yosemite, is the first in a series of covers by Robert C. Lentzner, MD, a retired specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. "I have always enjoyed painting Yosemite scenes on location with water color, pastels or just sketching in pencil," said Dr. Lentzner. "As our children grew up, we took yearly vacations in Yosemite. We hiked all the valley and high country trails, some old ones no longer in the guide books." The original oil painting is 15 by 22 inches. Dr. Lentzner can be contacted at P.O.
