George Vernon Ewing, MD (1831-1894)
Dr. George Ewing was born in Hayesville, Ohio and received his medical degree from Western Reserve medical College in Cleveland in 1852. He came to Sacramento via Amador County in 1884 with his second wife, Elizabeth, who joined him in a busy practice.
