Good governance and leadership provide the vision and direction to execute SSVMS’ mission to promote the art and science of quality medical care and to enhance the physical and mental health of our entire community. The responsibility for governing SSVMS rests with our physician-led Board of Directors, operating according to a set of bylaws and working in close collaboration with SSVMS’ CEO to set strategic direction, provide necessary resources, and make key decisions to exceed member expectations. All physician members can trust that their best interests are being represented by a strong and trustworthy network of physician leaders who represent a diverse range of specialties, geographies, and modes of practice.
