SSV Medical Society News - 2017 - Volume 6 - Issue 10 - October

Dear Physicians: The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society's (SSVMS) first annual Joy of Medicine Summit was a tremendous success! Thank you to the 150 physicians, residents and medical students who joined us for a day of meditation, gratitude and networking with colleagues. If you were unable to attend the summit, please click here to view the presentations and other resources. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s summit!

SSVMS' Joy of Medicine program is one of the ways SSVMS is taking care of you, so you can take care of yourself and your patients. The program is open to any physician that lives or works in Sacramento, El Dorado, Yolo or Placer Counties. Please visit if you are interested in exploring no-cost resiliency consultations with vetted mental health professionals, joining a physician peer group, or perusing our wellness library.

As always, let me know what your medical society can do for you,

Aileen E. Wetzel
Executive Director
