SSV Medical Society News - 2019 - Volume 8 - Issue 11 MEDICAL SOCIETY NEWS Volume 8, Issue 11 November, 2019 The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society is dedicated to bringing together physicians from all modes of practice to promote the art and science of quality medical care and to enhance the physical and mental health of our entire community. Dear Physicians, On October 26th and 27th, I had the privilege of attending the annual CMA House of Delegates (HOD) as a delegate representing District XI. This year's HOD featured educational sessions and debates on homelessness, cannabis and augmented intelligence in health care. The delegates worked hard to establish policy for the CMA to focus their efforts, and I look forward to seeing how the physician profession and patients will benefit. If you are interested in healthcare policy, please let us know and I hope to see you at the HOD in 2020! Christian L. Serdahl, MD President, Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society Click here for photos from the 2019 HOD.
