SSV Medical Society News - 2018 - Volume 7 - Issue 02 - February Dear Physicians: I am delighted to inform you that in January alone, SSVMS has hosted four “Gratitude Pop Ups,” each at different locations in Sacramento. Gratitude Pop Ups are a component of the Joy of Medicine program where SSVMS staff “pops up” at a medical staff or physician group event to thank physicians for taking such great care of their patients. Some of you may have even attended and a few of you may have been the lucky raffle prize winners! Be on the lookout for future Gratitude Pop Ups! In addition to Gratitude Pop Ups, I would like to remind you of SSVMS’s Joy of Medicine program. The program is designed to help physicians address burnout and reclaim the joy of practicing medicine. It is important to remember to take care of yourselves, especially during this busy flu season. There are many different aspects of the program and you can click here for more information.
