The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors recently voted to restore health care services for part of its indigent population, including the undocumented. SSVMS’ Sacramento Physicians Initiative to Reach out, Innovate and Teach (SPIRIT) Program will provide volunteer specialty and surgical services. Volunteer opportunities could be available in your private office, in community clinics and in local hospitals and surgery centers.
